MATTHAEUS was born on November 9th, 1780.  MATTHAEUS' father was MATTHAEUS AISENBREY and his mother was MARGARETE DOROTHEA SCHNITZ.  His paternal grandparents were GEORG AISENBREY and MARGARETE STIERLE.  He had three brothers and four sisters, named JOHANNES, ANDREAS, MATTHAEUS, MARGARETHA, MARIA AGNES, CATHARINA and EVA DOROTHEA.  He is the sixth oldest of the eight children.
