FRANCIS J was born on November 18th, 1903 in at home in Philadelpia,Pa..  FRANCIS J's father was FRANCIS Joseph CONWAY and his mother was LOUISA M ROTH.  His paternal grandparents are PETER CONWAY and MARY HESTER; his maternal grandfather is JOHN ROTH and his maternal grandmother was SOPHIA GEIST.  He had eight brothers and four sisters, named PETER P., ALEXANDER, JAMES, THOMAS JOSEPH, WILLIAM FRANCIS, JACK (EDWIN) (EDWARD J), WALTER, GEORGE FRANCIS, MARY HELEN, HELEN, ANNA VIRGINIA and SOPHIE.  He was the oldest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 76 on December 14th, 1979 in Villas (Wildwood) Cape May Co.New Jersey.  His burial was in St.Mary's,Cold Spring,Cape May Co. NJ.
